Nail Filing
Depending on the Month and Year your Nails will require
Filling during 2 - 4 Omega Periods each Month
1 Lunatips Month = Begins at the begining of the
Right Strand and Ends at the End of the Left Strand
Please ensure that you File your Nails Once during each
Omega Period as shown on the Lunatips Tree of Life Calendar

You will need:
Emery Boards - Glass Nail File - 3 Way Buffer
How to File Your Nails
Side of Free Edges
Holding your emery board flat (approx 180% angle)
Lightly file in sweeping motions away from your Nail approx 2 -4 times
Tips of Nail Edges
Holding your emery board/glass nail file on a 40 - 45% angle
Lightly file in sweeping motions - left to centre - right to centre
Always avoid coming into contact with the front of the nail when Filing your Nails as this causes nail ridges to form on the outer edges of the nails, making the nails prone to splitting horizontally and causing nail polish to peel chip and flake
First Nail Filing Period
File Nails to desired length if you have long nails remove approx 1mm from the length
Last Nail Filing Period
File Nails to desired Length
Second & Third Nail Filing Periods
Lightly File your Nails during the 2nd and 3rd nail filing period, you do not have to remove any length during these 2 periods as you are simply tidying up the nail shape
Once you have finished filing your nails go around the free edge with your 3 way buffer sides 123 in the same way you filed your nails to
ensure that your nails are snag free and water tight
